| South Wales Police Authority |
South Wales Police Authority is the independent body which holds South Wales Police to account on behalf of the local communities it serves. It is responsible for maintaining an efficient and effective police service. British police are employed to serve the communities. They are there to help in matters which may be making life difficult/uncomfortable such as: racial problems, harassment from neighbours. Local Police Stations usually have a community Police Officer and it would be useful to get to know who they are.They are also empowered to uphold the Law and arrest people who are committing crime. |
